About the artist
Hi, I'm Fatima
I draw realistic, handmade art from my studio in Dubai — portraits of the people you love, verses for your walls, and flowers that never fade.
From Pakistan to Dubai, one sketch at a time
I'm a self-taught artist. No art school, no shortcuts — just years of filled sketchbooks, first back home in Pakistan and now in Dubai, where I live and draw today. I've been sharing my work online since 2019, and putting those early sketches next to what leaves my desk now is my favourite reminder that patience pays.
Most days you'll find me at a white desk by the window, graphite dust on my fingers, building a drawing layer by layer. Pencil realism is where my heart is — eyes, especially. Getting a single eye right, lash by lash, can take hours, and I wouldn't trade those hours for anything.
Some moments still feel unreal. When a portrait I drew of a scene from a Pakistani drama was reshared by the actress herself on her own Instagram story, I read the notification about five times. Moments like that mean the world to someone who taught herself to draw.

Studio photos are coming soon — until then, here is some of the work that has left my desk.
What I work with
Professional materials, chosen piece by piece — your artwork should outlast us both.
Graphite & charcoal
My signature medium — black-and-white realism, down to the skin's texture.
Faber-Castell colored pencils
Artist-grade Polychromos for soft, lifelike color built up in thin layers.
Acrylic on canvas
Rich, textured color for larger statement pieces and devotional art.
Gold leaf & mixed media
Real gold leaf on calligraphy panels — it catches the evening light beautifully.
How a piece comes to life
Getting to know your story
Before a single line, I sit with your photo or your words until I understand the feeling behind them — that feeling is what the artwork has to carry.
The first sketch
Light construction lines, proportions, composition. This is the quiet, careful stage nobody sees — and the one everything else depends on.
Layer by layer
Hours of shading, blending and building color. This is where the piece slowly starts to breathe, and where I'll share progress along the way.
Signed and sent to you
A final fixative spray to protect the work, my little AF signature in the corner, and your piece travels carefully to your door.

No prints. No filters. No AI.
Every detail is drawn by hand. In a world of instant images I choose the slow way — pencil, paint and patience. When you hold one of my pieces, you're holding hours of a person's full attention, and that is something no machine can give you.

Shall we draw something together?
Tell me about the person, the verse or the moment — and I'll turn it into something you can hold.
